Dimples!!

Tell me, is the second pregnancy way worse and harder on every one's body or just mine???
I'll tell ya, I'm not liking what's going on here. My boobs are already enormous! My butt couldn't get any bigger! My hips have spread enough that I could birth a baby any day! Seriously, what's the deal?!?
I'm going to be 16 weeks tomorrow and I already can't fit into any of my pants! With Bella I could wear my pants well into my 6th month. This is crazy!
I am so excited to be pregnant and I actually really like being pregnant. It's just hard being too big for my clothes but not big enough for maternity clothes. Such a rough, awkward few weeks!
I wish I was one of those people that just got this cute big round belly and everything else stayed the same. But unfortunately everything of mine gets big and round!
Oh well this little bundle of love will be well worth it! Right??

(that last pic could have been a little offensive to some so I changed it up, and this I definitely have!)

She's a big girl now....

Wednesday I started the 3 day potty training with Bella.

Day 1
- was rough, she had several accidents and several melt downs. She would cry for her diaper to be put back on! Ha ha ha, it was actually really sad! I think it's because she had to go poop so bad and her diaper is the only place she felt comfortable doing it. I never gave in though. She finally went pee pee on the potty before bed time and then woke up at 3:00 am and told me she had to go potty. I was stoked!! I thought awesome she "gets it"! But when she woke up that morning she was wet. Oh well that's to be expected.

Day 2- was much better. Only one accident all day and that was in the morning. I wasn't watching her and she walked into the kitchen and peed. Which shoot if she's not going to pee in the potty that's the least she could do was pee on the tile! After that she wanted a bath and while she was in her bath she said she needed to go. So she got out and went in her potty.YAY! She stayed dry all day after that. Mind you I only use pulls ups at night. I keep her in big girl panties all day. So she learns that those are what she wears now and she needs to keep them dry. Pull ups are too much like diapers. Anyway, the big news is that she also went poop in her potty yesterday. On day 2! I think that is awesome! I've heard that that's what kids struggle with the most when potty training. She came to me and said "Mom, poop" so I thought she already did but she didn't so I rushed her upstairs and she did her business! Last night she peed once in her pull up and then woke up at 6:30 and told me she had to go. She went and then got in bed with me!

Day 3- well day 3 is just starting. But so far we are off to a good start. I'll let ya know how it turns out.

I just wanted to write everything down so I don't forget how she's been doing and how far she has come. She was not a fan of the potty and always preferred her diapers. So I am so proud of her! She has done great. I think she really gets it! I hope we have another successful day.

After she masters the potty we are going to get her into a big girl bed and after she masters being in a big girl bed we are going to say bye bye to the binky! That one will be the hardest I'm sure. She loves it! But she needs to be a big girl before this other little one arrives. And she's well on her way!!

Things we've been doing while we're home bound doing the potty thing.

We're so proud of you Bella!! We love you so much!!

Early Easter...

Bella got her Easter gifts early from Grandma and Grandpa Lewis because we were going to be in Idaho. She got this cute little dress with matching headband. And this cute pink bench/storage container. It matches her room and will be great to be able to hide more of her toys away. And she loves to sit and climb all over it! We were also able to meet and have breakfast with Great Grandma and Grandpa Blackburn before we left for Idaho. They gave Bella a book and DVDs to watch so she was entertained for our drive. Thank you all for the nice gifts!

Easter and Conference weekend

We went to Idaho for Easter/conference this year. Eric Josh and Jordan went shooting on Friday afternoon. What is it with boys and guns?? I'll never understand it. Oh well at least they have fun! Friday night was little Lucy's 1st birthday party. She is still so tiny but walks all around and keeps up with the big girls! Saturday morning we listened to conference and dyed Easter eggs with Bella and Aaliyah (well Rachel completely took over because she didn't want them to get messy) I think they still had a good time watching her do it :) Saturday afternoon we had our Easter dinner with the whole family and then did an Easter egg hunt for the 3 little girls. We had to do it inside because as always it was colder than crap and snowing that day! Anyway after the egg hunt we let the girls open their Easter baskets. Bella got a Handy Many doll new jammies a book and some treats from Mimi and Papa and a game and another doll and doll bed to go inside her doll house from the Easter Bunny (mom and dad). We had a great time it's just too bad the weather wasn't nicer. Sunday was actually pretty nice so we let the girls play outside for a little while before we left after the first session of conference.
