STAY-CATION...

Farm Country

Swimming

Eric took this last week off....we didn't have money to go anywhere so we had a stay-cation. It was so fun! Here's how our week went.

Monday (memorial day)- we spent the day with family and did a BBQ just like the rest of the world. It was fun and we had great weather.
Tuesday- was Eric's day. He went golfing with his dad and brother while Bella and I played at home.
Wednesday- was my day. I got to go get a mani-pedi. It was so nice and relaxing. When I got home we decided to take Bella to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. It's like a mini Zoo but with farm animals. It's cute and was pretty fun. Bella didn't really appreciate all the animals. She was terrified of the pony we tried to make her ride. She liked to watch the pony's but did not want to sit on them. She did enjoyed the carriage ride and playing in the little jail house they have there. After farm country we tried out JCW's, it was really yummy! Such a nice family day!
Thursday- was work day. I made calls and Eric and his dad tiled the hall bathroom. It looks great and will be so nice to have that done. We really didn't do anything else today. I think Bella and I went to do a couple errands but mostly we just had a chill day at home.
Friday- was family day. We had a yummy breakfast together. Eric got to get one more game of golf in before his vacation was over. After Bella's nap we went to Lehi Legacy Center to swim. It is so fun there! We loved it. We had never been before and it's awesome! Such fun things for little ones to do. Bella loves the water so she was in heaven. She loved walking around in the 4inch water and going down the baby water slide. We will definitely be frequenting that place this summer. After swimming we decided to end our stay-cation with a yummy dinner out. We went to The Pizza Factory. Yes, we love this place. We never tire of it. This was my favorite day.

Well that sums it up. We had such a great week. It totally flew by. It was so fun to have Eric home with us and to be able to create some fun family memories.

Snoop.....

Nursery....

Today was Bella's first day of nursery. She did really good. She is in a class that my friend teaches so that made it a lot easier. She also new a lot of the little kids so that was nice too. I kinda came and went the first hour then Eric went with her the last hour so I could go to Young Women's for the last time. Yes, I got released today. Sad, but it will be nice to go to Relief Society for a while before I get another calling. I just can't believe my baby is old enough for nursery. Time goes way to fast.

Ghetto Swim...

Monday was such a beautiful day that we played outside all afternoon. It was so fun. I got to tan and Bella got to swim in her makeshift swimming pool. I have a little blow up pool from last year but it's so hard to blow up and it looks like there is some sort of nasty fungus growing on it. So we didn't use it. I filled up her tub that holds her outside toys instead. She loved it! She loves to stuff herself into small spaces though. Silly little thing.

Girls Weekend!

Last weekend Eric went out of town so my mom, sister and niece came down to visit. We had such a fun girls weekend.
Best little friends, so excited to see each other, they hugged cheek to cheek like this for a good couple of minutes. It was the cutest thing!
Bella so happy to see Mimi!Sisters with our babes after lunch at Pizza Factory. Always a fav! They loved to walk around holding each others hand. Playing in the new cool toys at McDonald's!

These girls are seriously too cute. I love that they are so close in age and that they love each other.
I love living here in Utah because there is so much to do and so much to appreciate. But I do get jealous that Rachel and Aaliyah live 5 minutes from my mom. I feel left out. It makes me sad that all of my family is within minutes of each other, except for me.
That's why we love to have you all come and visit!!

My greatest gift...

This is what being a Mother is all about. Sleeping or awake this baby makes me smile! She is all girl as you can see. She loves to play in my closet and get out all my purses and shoes. She also loves makeup time! She has the most fun personality and is always doing something silly and making us laugh.

She is the most beautiful perfect little girl and I am so happy I get to be her mom!
She is truly my greatest treasure.

Mother's Day!

Bella playing at the restaurant.
Me and Bella on the bouncy bridge outside the restaurant looking down at the water. She loved it.
For those of you that have not had breakfast/brunch at Market Street Grill, you so need to go! It is so good! Look at this food...YUM!
This is the view from our table...beautiful!
Our sweet little family!

Today was a very nice day. Eric and Bella gave me some really sweet cards and a gift card to get a manicure and pedicure. Then we went and met Eric's family for brunch at Market Street Grill. Thank you Kent and Lisa, this place is awesome. It had been a while since I had been there for breakfast and oh my goodness they did not disappoint. After breakfast we just hung out for a while and then later met up with Eric's grandparents for dinner. That to was very nice. Happy Mother's day to me!

Shout out to my Mom....

Mom, I love you! You are the best. You are so beautiful, kind, funny and, lets be honest a little dorky and I love it! I can always count on you for anything. You are and have always been the best Mom and now the best Grandma! You are always there when any of us need you. I wish I was there with you today....next year.

You have taught me so much. I am a great Mom because you are a great mom. I am a great wife because you are a great wife. I am a great daughter because you are a great daughter....you get the idea! I think you are the best and I love you so much!!

Happy Mother's Day!!
