BELLA

I just think this is precious. This was last week when she was so sick. She fell asleep on the couch while she was cuddled up next to me.

Trying out her new big girl potty. No, we're not potty training. I just got her a potty to help her get used to the idea. She is terrified of the big potty so I got this in hopes it won't be so scary to her. She likes to sit on it but hasn't gone on it yet. She still likes to go potty in her diaper. When she has to go she'll ask for her diaper on. So I guess she's not quiet ready to potty train. That's ok. We can wait. We're in no rush.

Cute little baby bum in her big girl panties...too cute!

You've heard of babies climbing out of their cribs. Well, she likes to climb into her crib!

And this picture is just funny cause it looks like she's doing the "Michael Jackson" move. I'm really not sure what she's doing. But it's awesome!

FIST PUMP

We just got done watching the season finale and the reunion show of JERSEY SHORE.
Officially the trashiest reality show ever. We loved it!! But how do you not love "the situation"?!?
Hahahaha....so good. If you haven't seen it or just thought it looked to trashy to watch, you'll get over it and become hooked.

Favorite quote: "everybody loves the situation and if you don't love the situation, I'll make you love the situation"

At the end of my rope...

Bella is sick, again. Yes, this happens all of the time. It's the worst! It was just 4 short weeks ago that she was sick and now she's sick again. She gets crazy high fevers, throws up and is just miserable. So I'm miserable. Nights are always the worst because she can't sleep so then non of us sleep. The only way she will sleep is if she is right on top of me. Awesome. Poor little thing.

This morning she said to me, "I pretty sick". It was so cute but so sad at the same time. Because she is pretty sick.

Yesterday I took her in to the Doctor. We did every test imaginable on here. He did a throat culture because she's had a lot of throat infections and tonsillitis and even strep throat. They did a urine test. And then he sent us over to the hospital to have her blood drawn, she let out the most blood curdling scream I've ever heard. The nurses said she should do horror films. Once again, poor little baby. It was an exhausting day for her and I felt so bad putting her through all of that but we've got to figure out what is wrong with her.

For about the last year and a half she has gotten sick every 4 to 6 weeks. And she gets really sick. It's not normal. I told the Doctor yesterday to do all the tests and whatever he needed to do to figure out what is going on with her. We should have test results back in a few days. Hopefully they will tell us something. I'm just so over having a sick baby every other week. And I know she's over it too. I'll post when we know something more.

I pumin Mom... I pumin

these are the words I hear all day as she follows me around.

I love it!

My crazy girl....

The other night I was chasing her all around the house and she was loving it. She would scream and squeal. We were having a blast! She would run around the couch then jump up on it and bury herself in the blanket, hence the crazy static hair. She's so fun and cute. I love her little face!

And this one just cause she looks so cute!

It's fun to have friends!

Bella had her little friend Alli over to play yesterday. They played dress up and followed each other around the house with their magic wands. So cute! They got into everything. Double trouble. Bella loves having friends come play. (I think she gets bored with me.)

Thanks for playing Alli!

Earthquake

Oh my goodness....yes...we had an earthquake. So scary!! I woke up a little after 1 a.m to our bed shaking like crazy. At first I thought someone was in our house for some reason. I think I was having a bad dream. I do that often. It felt like someone was shaking me like you would shake a person to get them to wake up. Then I realized what was going on. Eric jumped up went in the hallway then looked out the window and I asked if it was just nasty outside he said no. Then I said "did we really just have an earthquake?" Yes, that just happened. It was a 2.9 magnitude earthquake. I would really hate to feel what a larger magnitude feels like. Because this was scary enough. I'm terrified of bad weather especially the wind. So I just laid there paralyzed in our bed from all the shaking. So Eric went to check on Bella, she slept right through it. I guess there has been 3 other earthquakes in Utah in the last month. That is scary to me. Is this the lead up of what's to come? Wow, I really need to make sure we are prepared and have everything that we would need in a true disaster. Anyway happy to say we all survived our first earthquake.

First movie theater experience

We took Bella to see the new chipmunk movie on Saturday night. We weren't sure how she would do but she loved it! We went to dinner and it was still early so we thought we'd see what was playing. It was either this one or the Princess and the Frog. (Eric was glad we chose this one.) Anyway, Bella thought it was so fun. She kept seeing people with popcorn so she says "I want popcorn, daddy". How could he refuse that? So they got some popcorn and some coke. Bella loves coke! She would sit for a while then stand up in between Eric and I. Luckily there wasn't that many people there. And when they would sing she would dance. It was so cute to watch her get excited about what was going on on the big screen. But when it was over she was ready to go home. She said "ok, wanna go home". We had a fun Saturday together as a family. And I'm glad we were able to do something we all could enjoy. That's kinda hard with 2 parents and a 2 year old. Most of the time we lose out to the cute little 2 year old.

CHRISTMAS 2009

Another Christmas has come and gone. And we are 2 for 2. Bella was sick again this year for Christmas. She had strep throat so the poor thing just wasn't herself so she couldn't fully enjoy it. We had a mellow Christmas Eve at home together. We let her open her Christmas jammies.....well I had to make her. She wasn't really in the mood. All she wanted was for me to hold her all day everyday. So to get anything else done was pretty much impossible. But I did get out of working Christmas Eve.

Christmas morning she woke up pretty fussy so we decided to have our breakfast first. And let her medicine take effect. So she was pretty good while we opened our presents and was able to enjoy playing with her new toys for a little while. Christmas Day was nice and relaxing. I baked a ham, yummy potatoes and rolls for dinner. So we had a nice big dinner and cinnamon rolls for dessert when the Grandparents came by with more gifts later.

Having a meltdown while opening her new jammies on Christmas eve.

I got a little wrap happy so there wasn't much for "Santa" to bring. I just love to wrap and I love the pretty wrapping paper. I think it's ok, she's still to young to understand.

Playing with her new tea set, thanks Mimi. She loves it!

She also got a baby alive doll that drinks and pees from Mimi and Papa. Another big hit. She loves babies.

And one of her favorites. A 4 dollar princess camera. Awesome!

I couldn't get her to smile with all her new stuff. Poor thing was just done after an hour or two of opening and playing with each present after she opened it.

Poor baby.

And this is the cute little doll house she got from Grandma and Grandpa Lewis. She loves it!!

No pics of Eric and I this time. We look to homely to post! But Bella wasn't the only one that was spoiled we also had a very nice Christmas. Eric got a bunch of shirts and a couple pairs of jeans and a movie and cologne. I got a shirt, purse, boots, shoes a new wallet and some jeans. And our big gift to ourselves was a new Maytag washer and dryer. I'm so excited about those. Our old ones were so old they were ruining our clothes. Hence the new clothes and washer and dryer.

Minus a sick little girl we had a very nice Christmas.
