I made this oreo cake. My sister turned me on to it. It is really so easy and so good!!

Bella gets so excited over birthdays! She had to "help" daddy with everything. Here they are getting ready to blow out the candle. 

Eric turned 28 yesterday. He celebrated by getting up at 4:00 a.m to drive to work in the nasty cold windy snow! I told him to stay home and relax and let me pamper him all day, but he insisted, that's what he wanted to do! :) The things some people find fun. Weird! Ok, so he didn't really want to be at work yesterday but being the great provider that he is he got up in the frigid early a.m. and went to work. 

When he got home we had Lasagna, Caesar salad, garlic bread and an oreo cake for dessert! He even got presents! He finished off the night by snuggling with sweet baby Lyla and watching his new movie with me! 

We love you so much honey! You are such a great Husband and Father!

This is how she let's you know she's had enough....so funny! It was so chunky!! Ha haha

We love our baby girls! We love to sit and kiss on Lyla all day long. As long as she will let us! She is getting so big I can't believe it. She fits into some 3-6 months clothing. That's crazy! She's only 6 weeks old! She is so long and a little chubby, we love it! It will be interesting to see how big she is when I take her to the Dr. in a week and a half. She's still fussy but is getting better. She is a total mama's girl. And she loves the boob! She won't take a binky. Kinda frustrating but we're working on it. She will only sleep on her tummy. I know they say not to but shoot I figure I slept on my tummy and I'm ok. She just loves it! 

And Bella is as sassy as ever. She's all of a sudden so grown up. She loves to play with friends and insists on playing with one every day. She loves to play dress up and Doctor.Those are her favorites. She loves to tell us we are sick and she needs to fix us. She's so funny. And she's so gosh darn cute! She is a little more sensitive and more pron to melt downs since Lyla has come along. I'm hoping she'll grown out of that really soon. She's my little side kick and my best little friend! 

It's amazing how you can love your kids more than anything but they can also make you more crazy than anything. 

Precious Faces....

Bella said "let's take pictures and put them on the computer for my cousins and my Mimi to see". So these are my cute little girls this morning!!! I love them so much and I love when Lyla will sit by herself for a few minutes without crying.

4 Weeks Today!

It's been a long 4 weeks for Bella....I guess she's in need of a little attention.

I can't believe it's already been 4 weeks since this sweet/frustrating little love has come into our lives. We love her so much! She can be the sweetest little thing, then at other times, the most frustrating. She cries a lot! But we still love her more than words! It's the best when she will just sit and gaze into your eyes. Such a special bonding moment.

Halloween Weekend....

 My Mom, Sister and Niece came for Halloween weekend. We had a lot of fun! We went to Gardner Village on Friday. It was so windy and cold and both girls were hungry and whiny so we didn't stay long. Plus it was super crowded. I'll have to take them back there in the Spring when it's nice. Saturday, Rachel took Bella and Aaliyah to Thanksgiving Point. They rode the pony's and had a wagon ride and got to look at all the animals. They had a great time! And Rachel was so brave to take them all by herself! I however spent most of the day relaxing at home with my Mom and my new baby. It was nice. Later that night Rachel and I braved the rain and took the girls trick or treating. We didn't last long because we were all soaked but it was still fun! Such a fun weekend with the girls!!
