The wait is over......I'm an Aunt!

Aaliyah was born 5 days late on February 25th at 3:36 p.m by an unplanned c-section. Rachel is doing great and was a real trooper through this whole ordeal. Aaliyah weighs 7lbs 14oz and is 20 inches long. She has beautiful dark skin and tons of beautiful black hair! She is a sweet little baby! Aaliyah after her bath.

2 Months Old Today

Our sweet baby is 2 months old and I can't believe it! We love being parents! Bella has been such a good baby. She smiles all the time and I swear she wants to laugh out loud! She has laughed a few times in her sleep and it is the sweetest sound ever. She has discovered her tongue and is constantly chewing on it and sticking it out at us. She is such a strong baby, she holds her own head and loves to stand up. She really hates to sleep for fear she will miss out on something. Bella you are such a precious Angel baby!!

Bella and I have been in Idaho since Friday so Eric is really starting to miss his baby. She is all smiles lately and I was able to capture her cuteness on camera. Enjoy honey!

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

Bella has the best Daddy...And I have the best husband....Eric left our Valentines Day gifts on the table before he left for work. How sweet is he. He got two little matching swimsuites for Bella and her soon to be cousin Aaliyah. We love you honey!!!

Explosion.....

Bella had her first major blow out today. It was all the way up her back, I'm talking almost to her neck. So gross!!! She must have grossed herself out...

8 Week Check-up

Bella is 8 weeks old today! She had her 8 week well baby check-up yesterday. She is a healthy little baby weighing in at 9 lbs 15 ouncs and is 22 1/2 inches long. So she has gained almost 4 pounds and grown 3 inches in just 8 weeks. She is such a good girl! She also had to have her shots...talk about breaking a Momma's heart! That was the saddest thing. She didn't understand why she had to get hurt. She has been pretty fussy last night and today and wasn't really into eating until about an hour ago. But she hasn't had a fever so that's good. Hopefully she will be back to her happy smiley self tomorrow. Poor little angel girl.

Help my hair!

Does anyone know of a good hair person around? I don't care if I have to go to SLC I just need someone good. My hair has been the same for several years now, long and straight with a few long layers but nothing Wow. I need that Wow look! I'm not sure what I want so I am taking any suggestions. Let me know what you think would look good on me. Thanks!!
