Lyla Grace....

I also love my Lyla baby so much. She is such a strong little spirit. She is already so feisty! Love her! She just brings a smile to my face. She is already crawling and pulling herself up to things at 6 months old. She loves little kids especially her big sister. Tonight I went visiting teaching and dropped Bella off at her friends and took Lyla with me. When we got home and Lyla saw Bella she let out the biggest happiest squeal....it was the cutest thing ever! And Bella said "I think she missed me". I know she did. I love having my two girls. I love seeing them laugh and play together. They are already bonded for life. Best friends! Lyla has her own little baby toys but she is always crawling over to Bella's corner to play with her stuff. She follows behind Bella all day long. Since she started moving she will come find me where ever I am. I was upstairs the other day and heard her downstairs whining so I came down and she was in the kitchen looking for me. So precious. She is still just super tiny but she loves to eat...? She eats solids at breakfast time and again at dinner. She still wont take a bottle or binky. But she is finally getting better at sleeping. Most nights she goes down by 7 and wakes between 1 and 2 to eat then wakes again around 4 or 5 and I bring her in bed with us. And then she's up by 5:30 or 6. The early mornings are killers but I do enjoy our time playing in bed in the morning together.

Here is what Lyla's been up to this week:

This is the sweet little lover in action.

Lyla baby, I love your strong personality, your curiosity and your sweet little face!

Bella Patrice...

I love my Bella so much. She is such a girl. She loves to have tea party's, play babies, play dress up and read books. She is at such a fun and funny age. I over hear her talking to her babies all the time. And it's so cute some of the things she says. I need to be better at writing down everything she says because it is seriously funny sometimes. Something she said today was "Oh you are a mommy, hi mommy, I don't like it when you go to work, you belong home". So cute. And she pretends her babies are sick all the time and I am the Dr. It's funny cause she knows all the questions the Dr asks. "My baby is sick, she won't eat or sleep or drink...can you fix her?". She thinks she has to play with a friend constantly. So today was her lucky day. She had two friends over this morning for a while and then this afternoon we had the little boy next door over for a while. Fun for her and fun for me. She is entertained so I race around and get things done...with sweet Lyla baby following behind.

Here is what she's been up to this week:

flying her kite with daddy
princess tea party with her friend Lily....love these cute little girly girls!

Just remembered something she said to her friend Jake today. Preface- they were in her room playing and she was getting all her dress ups on and I hear him say "I don't want to play this there is no boy stuff" ha ha very true in a house full of girls. And she says "well I am the princess so you are supposed to by my king" standing with her hand on her hip. But he stayed strong and refused to play with the girly dress ups. Broke her bossy little heart but they moved on.

Bella, I love your sassy, bossy, funny and emotional little self!!

Easter Weekend

We had another great Easter in Idaho with my family. We got in Friday afternoon and just hung out. Bella and Aaliyah were so excited to see each other and it was so nice out so they were able to go play on the new swing set. But within about 10 minutes Aaliyah fell of the swing and ended up breaking her wrist. So sad. But the party went on. The girls still played and played and Bella even spent the night with Aaliyah and Rachel. And hung out with them most the day on Saturday. My little girl is growing up. She is so independent.

Saturday was a big day but so much fun! My Mom and I got up and ran some errands. The guys went shooting and Rachel had Aaliyah and Bella. We then died eggs with the girls and had their Easter egg hunt. Then we had a BBQ. And later did our family pictures. Busy but fun. It was such a nice day the girls played and played outside and in the playroom. Jordan and Megan hung out all day with us. It was fun to have them around. But we did miss Josh and Jarom and their families this year.

Running to find all the eggs
breaking for a quick pic with Mimi and Pap....don't mind my dad's sweet overalls. those are his working in the yard clothes. ha ha
the girls and all their eggs, there was a lot of eggs for two little girls
Saturday night we had a fire in the back and roasted marshmallows....so fun!
Mercedes was in heaven all weekend. So much room to run and play.

Sunday we Celebrated Easter with Easter baskets full of goodies for the girls and a yummy lunch before we hit the road.
my mom's pretty Easter table.
they must be growing up. they didn't fight all weekend. that's amazing for these two. Love them!
Yes, my 6 month old pulls herself up to things...she's crazy. She also pretty much started crawling for real while we were there. I'll post a video later.
Enjoying the beautiful Easter day with Papa...watching the bubbles!

We had a great time. Thanks for making this such a fun and special time for the girls, Mom and Dad.

Family Pictures

We finally had family pictures done. It only took 6 1/2 months but we did them!
My super awesome and talented Sister did them for us.
We took them at an old School house down the street from my Parents house. It was a pretty sweet location.
The weather was pretty nice all weekend. But we did the pics a little later in the day so it was starting to get a little chilly. And Bella was getting fussy and the baby was getting hungry and her poor little nose and eyes ran the entire time. Poor thing has been battling this cold for a couple of months. Even with all that we still managed to get several good pictures.

Thank you Rachel!!

Indoor Entertainment

Bella likes to pretend she's "camping" with her umbrella
She's so close to crawling
Bella arranged her animals and toys and insisted I take a picture of what she had done.
I love this girl and her big imagination. 3 year olds are so funny!
Both girls love books, we read several times a day.
Dress-up
Lyla is always such a good sport.
I came down from putting Lyla to bed the other night and this is what I found. It was only like 6:50 pm. Awesome!

Spring?!?....we can't be sure...

All this snow came 2 weeks ago on Conference Sunday.
And this nice weather was just a couple of days ago.

We never know what to expect. Warm and sunny or crazy windy with rain and snow!

All I know is that we are totally ready for Spring...permanently!
