Good entertainment...

I let Bella play with her chalk the other day after she played in her pool and she loved it. She colored all over the patio for a good hour. That's good entertainment, so if you need a way to keep the little ones entertained that's what I recommend. She was getting tired as you can see but would still not go inside. Funny little thing.

I was brave and let Bella finger paint the other day. She loved that too. She thought it was really fun to be able to smear her little hands all around in that fun goop! Another good way to entertain the kiddos. She was so proud of herself we had to go right to the fridge to hang up her work! Funny how fast they learn.

Finally....

Bella let me paint her toe nails for the first time yesterday. I love that she wants to do everything that I do! It's so cute she'll look down at her toes and say "pretties". So precious, I love having a girlie girl!

Hardest week ever!

This week is training week at Texas Road House. I have to be there everyday at 3 p.m. and don't get done until 10 p.m. So I leave Bella at 2:30 in the afternoon and don't get to see her until the next morning when she wakes up. Yesterday was the first day of 5 and she woke up at 12:30 last night and would not let me put her back in her crib. She just kept crying mama mama. So sad, so of course I sat and rocked her for a while then I gave up and brought her in bed with us. She just cuddled up so sweet next to me and slept for a while (she never does that) when she started to get restless I put her back in her bed and she slept till 6:30 and woke up saying mama mama. I think this is so sweet and it makes me feel so good but breaks my heart at the same time because I know she missed me and wondered where I went for so long. And I still have 4 more days! Aghhh! And I don't get to see Eric at all! He leaves for work at the butt crack of dawn so I'm still asleep and by the time I get home he's asleep. I just have to keep reminding myself it's only one week, I can do it.

4th of July weekend...

We had a really fun 4th. On Friday we went swimming and had a BBQ at Eric's aunts house. It was so fun and Bella loved it. She loves the water! We swam for like 4 hours and she still didn't want to leave. Saturday was nice too. We had another family get together. Lots of good food and lots of people to talk to and play with. We did some fireworks for Bella at like 6:30 at Eric's parents. She wasn't really that into it, maybe next year! All in all it was a really nice weekend.

Birthday Celebration....

Okay so I totally think it's weird when people give themselves a shout out on their birthday's so I'm gonna give the people that made my birthday so great a shout out. My Birthday was on Monday the 29th of June, so last Monday. I swear my birthday has lasted forever this year, which is okay with me! So it all started about a month ago when I was out shopping with my Mother-in-law and she bought me a pair of jeans (which I desperately needed) and two super cute shirts. Thank you Lisa. Then the weekend before my birthday my parents came to visit just cause that's what I wanted for my birthday. We met them at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch/dinner and it was so good! I definitely recommend it. Later my Mom and I went and saw My Sister's Keeper, so good, really sad but really good. And of course they didn't come empty handed. They brought me a knew shirt and purse and a necklace and earrings and some nail polishes and a few other little things. Thank you Mom and Dad for everything. On Monday, my birthday, Eric surprised me by taking me out to dinner to Olive Garden and then to see The Proposal. It was so nice because I was so not expecting anything that day. We usually go out to dinner but we hadn't talked about it so I just thought we'd do it later. Well no, he arranged for his parents to come down and watch Bella so we could go out. He also bought me a skirt that I saw and wanted that night while we were out. Thank you honey, you are the best! I love anytime I get to go out with Eric. It's nice to go out and just be a couple sometimes. Then later in the week on Thursday Eric's family took us all out to dinner for my birthday. We went to Iggy's which is always good. So, you see how my birthday just went on forever. I loved it! Thank you to everyone that made my birthday so great this year!
