Two years ago today my sweet Lyla baby was born. She has been a hard one from day one. She always knew if mommy wasn't holding her and she didn't really care for that. She has been my side kick for the last two years. She and Bella are my favorite little people! I am so lucky to get to do exactly what I've always wanted to do...be home with my kids everyday. It's hard and it makes me tired and cranky sometimes but it's the best! Lyla is so fun and crazy and definitely keeps us on our toes. She is busy and difficult but she is also very sweet and loving.
Yesterday we had her birthday party and it turned out so cute. I did a retro sock monkey theme party and I love they way it turned out! It was just a small family party. My parents and Aaliyah came down from Idaho for the weekend so we've enjoyed having them here with us. Thank you to all the Grandparents for the nice gifts she received. She had such a fun day. All day she would say "birtday, lyla" so cute!
Some things my baby love is doing right now:
she talks in 3 to 4 word sentences
she is great at sharing, if she gets a cookie she has to have one for Bella too.
she is so funny
she still wakes up in the night
she wakes up for the day at 5:30
she is so loud!
she only has one cry and it's crazy loud
she is still a very hard baby
she loves to run
she loves when daddy comes home
she loves Bella and wants to do everything she is doing
she loves to ride her bike and scooter
she is very fast and coordinated for a 2 yr old
she cries on long car rides
she loves to rock and read books
she loves to swing and have under dogs
she loves to go potty on the potty and does pretty frequently
she is now throwing some pretty sweet fits, stomps her little legs and yells
she loves Barney, Dora and Elmo
she loves grapes, oranges, eggs, pink milk, cookies, graham crackers, hot dogs, cottage cheese, corn and chicken
Stats at her 2 year check up
22 lbs 6 oz- 5th percentile and 35 inches long- 80th percentile
This baby girl drives us crazy! But we couldn't love her any more. She is gorgeous and funny and so sweet. She is absolutely precious!
Happy Birthday our beautiful blue eyed girl!!! We love you so much!
