Mercedes was hit by a car on Thursday night. She has several pelvic fractures and is very sore and sensitive everywhere. Not to mention traumatized! She won't even stand up it just hurts her to much to have any pressure on her back legs. Sad. She escaped from my in-laws backyard and was hit about 11:00 pm on Thursday night. She had to spend the night at the pound, that alone is traumatizing. They got her back on Friday night and were able to take her to the doggy doctor on Saturday morning. The doctor said she is to be on stricked bedrest for 6 weeks. That is a long time but if it will help her heal that's what we'll do. So the poor little thing has been through a lot the last couple of days. Oh, it was her 3rd Birthday yesterday. Happy birthday girl!!Sunday, August 9, 2009
Poor Mercedes...

Poor little puppy! Hope she gets better soon. And that bedrest works out better for her than it does my kids.
