Catch Up

This last weekend Eric painted Bella's room to match her big girl bedding. It started off a little rough and I was second guessing the paint I picked and the whole project. But it turned out great and I really really like it. We are still waiting on her headboard and nightstand and I'm trying to find some curtains that I like. So when we get those the room will be completed. I'm so excited for those pieces to come so I can hang the pictures and accessories I have. And just have it all done! Bella loves her new big girl room and bed. Tonight is her second night in her bed. Last night she did great and so far so good tonight. She even napped in there today. I was worried about naps but she did great. She won't get out of her bed. She calls for me when she wakes up. It's like there is an invisible line that she can't cross or something. But I'm totally okay with it. I'd rather her not be getting out of her bed.

This is her first night in her big girl bed

And this is her bedding. Super cute! The nightstand will go on the side of the bed closest to the window. I'll post more pics of her room when I have it all completed.

Since we will be putting the baby in the room we were using as an office we had to move the office into our bedroom. It actually isn't that bad. We down sized a lot to make it all fit. I got this new chair since the chair we were using before was an old kitchen table chair. Not good looking. I wanted something nice and a little more classy since the "office" is now in our bedroom.

I took this the other day and thought she looked super cute. She is just getting so big!

Last week Eric also got all the baby stuff out of the attic for me. And Bella has loved going through it all with me. Once we get Bella's room all done I can finally focus on the baby's room. I already have everything but just need to get it put together. And wash everything!

(i can't stand when she does this face but my mom tells me I'll think it's precious one day)

And last but not least we did two weeks of swimming lessons. She loved it! Everyday she would wake up and ask to go.

We've had a lot going on the last couple of weeks and I'm sure we'll continue to find more and more projects before the baby comes.

I love the bedding, too! So girly and cute!
Nelson does the same thing in his bed. He will not get out unless I come get him. Perfectly happy to do it and not have to worry about him destroying his room instead of sleeping.
