California

We went to California for a week. It was amazing! It's nice to be home but it was such a fun trip! Eric went to Canada on Thursday for "work" so he flew from there to L.A. on Sunday night. Luckily I was meeting my Parents and Rachel at the airport on Saturday morning so I didn't have to fly alone with the girls. I was nervous for our week because I was so sick on Friday night and Saturday morning. I felt better and back to normal by Sunday so that worked out great. Anyway we flew into Long Beach but stayed at my Uncles house in Huntington Beach from Saturday to Monday then we packed up and headed to Anaheim where we stayed in my Aunts Timeshare just minutes from Disneyland. We were there all week until Friday then we went back to Huntington and flew back home Saturday morning.

It was such a busy trip. A total kid trip but it was awesome. The beach and Disneyland!! Who wouldn't love it?! I'm so happy we got to take the girls to Disneyland. I hope Bella will remember it. I know Lyla won't but it was so amazing seeing Bella so happy and excited! We went with 3 three year olds and an 8 month old....crazy. They actually all did amazingly well. Little to no melt downs and they all got along and loved being with each other. Lyla was pretty good for being totally off her schedule and in a different time zone. However her nights were not awesome. She is such a bad sleeper. Although since we've been home she is back to sleeping from 7 to 5:30 and sometimes 6:30.

Now for total picture overload:

Saturday - Monday
Katie, one of my best friends from high school, lives in Manhattan Beach. It's not far from Huntington, so she came and spent the day with us on Sunday. It was so fun to see her again.

We so enjoyed our days at the beach!! Bella and Lyla both loved to play in the sand. Lyla would crawl as fast as she could towards the ocean....she loved it!

  Tuesday- Disneyland
This was our group....headed to Disneyland!
Sweet baby handled being trapped in her stroller so well.
waiting for the Princess show
Watching the parade, they loved it!!
Tuesday we opened the park and didn't leave until around 7:30 or 8. We tried to hit as many little rides and do as much as time and having little kids would allow. I feel like we got a lot in and it was super fun day. By the end we had tired girls on our hands. It was so fun!

 Wednesday- Angels Game
Wednesday was my Birthday and Eric and I had tickets for the Angels game. So we sent Bella with Mimi and Papa and everyone else to California Adventure. And we stayed back and took Lyla swimming in the morning then went to lunch at The Cheesecake Factory and later went to the game. It was the shortest game ever, only 2 hours. Perfect for a baby! I do wish now that we would have either gone to California Adventure in the morning for a couple hours or later that night, we heard we missed some pretty sweet rides. But we were so tired from the day before and it was kinda nice to have a more mellow day. (I need to get the pics from my Mom of their day at California Adventure)

Thursday- Disneyland
waiting in line for Indiana Jones...that's a pretty fun ride.
Bella was being a beast and wouldn't go give hugs to Tigger and Pooh...so it's just Aaliyah
cooling off in the fountain
roller coaster in toon town, Bella got to ride twice in a row and loved it!
Swimming after a hot day at D-land. Aaliyah kept dunking her mom, so funny!
Good bye Mickey!!

This was another fun day at Disneyland. We didn't stay as long but we were all tired and got to see everything that we wanted too. So we went back to the Condo and swam for a while. Then later that night, my Mom, Sister, Aunt and I went back to Disneyland for a girls night. We left Eric and my Dad with all the little girls!!  It was really fun. My Mom wasn't feeling so hot so we just looked through all the cute shops on Main st. We shared some yummy food and watched the fireworks show. A great way to end our time at Disneyland!

Friday- Movie

All the girls...BFF's
Friday we packed up the Condo and headed back to Huntington. Nobody felt like going back to the beach so we went to eat and to a movie. Rachel and I saw Bridesmaids, super funny. My Mom took the girls to Cars. And my Dad and Eric saw Transformers 3 in 3D. The guys show started a little after our shows so we had to wait for about an hour for them. So we let the girls run around and play and we also treated ourselves to Pink Berry frozen yogurt. So yummy!

 Saturday- Back to reality
This wasn't even all of the stuff we traveled with....amazing
My precious, worn out babies, holding hands as they nap on the way home.

We had such a great vacation.
Thanks to my Uncle Kelly and Leigh for letting 13 people take over their home for several days!
And to Aunt Heidi for sharing your beautiful Timeshare near the Happiest Place on Earth with us!
And to Mimi and Papa for helping us to be able to go on such a fun vacation and for all the help with our girls!!

We had the best time ever but it's nice to be home!
