I was in rocking and nursing Lyla in her room and Bella came in. She opened the little ottoman that I have in there full on baby toys and small stuffed animals and some things that were hers but she doesn't play with anymore because they are more babyish toys. Anyway here is the conversation we had.
Bella: Mom this is mine, and that is mine. Why is all my stuffs in here?
Me: Bella those are baby toys.
Bella: Well this is my Kai-lan that Mimi gave me..isn't it?
Me: (laughing so hard)- yes Bella, you can take that back to your room. Ok?
Bella: (pulling something else out)- and this isn't a baby toy, is it? Mom!
At this point I am laughing so hard and she says to me in her serious voice "mom, this is not funny, this is my stuffs!"
Oh Bella it's funny!! So funny that I stopped feeding the baby to come write it down so I wouldn't forget.
Now back to my baby...
