Ballet Recital

Bella had her very first ballet recital on Saturday. She did great! She wasn't feeling well, she had thrown up a couple days before and I think she was just a little overwhelmed. So needless to say we didn't quiet get the reaction from her we were going for. She was excited to go out and do her dance but was also a little timid...that's normal. But after it was over Eric and I were so excited to give her her pretty bouquet of flowers I had ordered special for the occasion. And do pictures, you know, all that fun stuff you do after a big event but she wasn't into it. She wouldn't take the flowers and wouldn't talk to anyone or smile for anything. Oh well. I'm still proud of my girl. She had fun while she was out there with her little ballet friends. And she looked super cute!!

Love this nervous little face.
It was so cute to watch all these little girls. Bella did so well for just starting in January. She was a little "off" the whole time and kinda did her own thing but that's what is so cute about this age.
Here she is being a stinker. I was thinking she would be so excited and happy to get flowers from her Daddy....nope! Oh she is somethin...
She had lots of support from both sides of the family....thanks for coming everyone!
We love you our strong willed and emotional little ballerina!

What a beautiful little ballerina. A couple of posts back, you mentioned Lyla was waking up every couple hours, I was just wondering if she's started sleeping regularly again... Lily has been doing that for couple months now and the Dr. told me to just let her cry it out but it's soooo hard. I thought I’d check with you and see if you’d found any “tricks” to help her sleep.
