Our precious Lyla baby turned 1 last Friday October 7th.
Some things about our baby girl at one year old:
She is mischievous and is always into something.
She has the funniest little hyena laugh.
She refuses to say words. She used to say dad and I swear Bella but now it's mama. Everyone and everything is mama. She lets you know what she wants by her hand motions and her excited noises.
She is always yelling or screaming or squealing basically just always being incredibly loud in some way. It really is amazing the amount of volume that can come out of something so tiny!
She loves to clap, dance, play peek a boo and jump. Basically she is always moving unless she is asleep.
She likes food and likes to eat but she eats very very little.
She still loves her bottle. I have only been giving it to her before naps and bedtime. And every time she sees it she giggles and reaches her little hands for it.
Her favorite thing to eat is baby cheetos, she would eat an entire can at a time if we let her.
She loves to push things around and she loves to carry anything and everything.
She knows how to be funny and knows when she is being funny. She will laugh and cover her mouth.
She is very dramatic and gets very heart broken when you tell her "no" especially when her daddy tells her no. She'll gently lay herself on the floor and bury her head in the ground and cry or she'll stand and look at you with her great big bottom lip out and let out the saddest cry.
And amazingly enough, even at one year old she is still pretty fussy.
She likes people a lot more now and is pretty good about letting people hold her. However she is not a fan of large groups and really loud and chaotic environments. So we'll see how she does at her party.
She is just so much fun and brings so much joy and entertainment into our lives.
