Pause

 My sweet Lyla baby is 6 months old today! I wish I could just push pause and keep her this age forever. I love this stage. She is so happy (most of the time) and sweet, she loves to laugh and play. It's the best. Nothing better than hearing my two girls giggling together. And nothing makes you slow down and enjoy the little moments quiet like a baby. I swear this past 6 months has flown by. It makes me so sad. She has gotten so much better over the past few months. She will let people hold her and she will play on her own or with Bella for a long time. I mean she still has her days that she is fussy and wont sleep and just wants to be held all day. She's not a good sleeper. She would prefer if I just held her whenever she slept. I swear sometimes she should have been the oldest. Then I would have time to cater to her every want. Regardless of all the difficult times with her, we couldn't live with out her! 

I did a little photo shoot with her today. Here are some of my favorites: 

 I just love all of these so much! She wasn't in a super smiley mood but she still looks absolutely beautiful and delicious!

 I'm sorry but could you just die for those enormous blue eyes and those luscious pink lips?!?!

 Things this sweet baby does at 6 months old:
- sits up perfectly
- gets up on all fours and is starting to rock back and forth
- army crawls her little self all over the place...she can really move
- tries to pull herself up on things already
- eats rice cereal once a day, but she can't eat it plain, no no, that would be disgusting! She enjoys mix-in's like, applesauce or banana's and sometimes I try to mix in a little peas or sweet potato. Just to keep her on her toes. But her all time favorite thing to eat is banana and avocado mashed together. She can't get enough! It's so good and nutritious for her, I let her have all she wants.
- she's not big on naps....they are usually only a half hour but sometimes she'll surprise me and sleep a couple hours and that's awesome
- she enjoys sleeping in bed with us....spoiled rotten, this one is
- she loves her big sister and her daddy, oh yeah, and me!
- has stated to cry when I get out of her sight...not letting up on the whole mama's girl thing
- talks and talks and talks....it's sort of precious!
- wakes up every morning by 6 just so happy and smiley and ready to talk....this is precious but annoying at the same time.
